It's obvious that around the nation, people are watching not only their weight, but what exactly it is that they are putting in their body. We all know that there are plenty of fad diets out there, some omit carbohydrates from the diet, others omit solid foods all together, fact of the matter everything comes down to portion control. The best way for me to have a successful diet is to indulge a little bit as well as let my body snack. Safe foods I like are corn chips. I'm sure most Americans associate chips in general as a snack, appetizer type food, especially for gatherings, like the Super Bowl or holiday parties.
Tortilla chips has definitely increased in popularity with more flavor options available to the public. If I'm really trying to just munch on something, I like to have the multi grain or spinach and artichoke. I find those justified as healthier in my diet than maybe pepperoni pizza flavored tortilla chips. But I do like me some spice, hotness. When your food makes you sweat, well, you know it's doing some type of job for you, like increasing your metabolism. Jalapenos do that to me every time no matter the food, but a great combo for me is jalapeno and cheddar. I am obsessed with cheese, plus it feels like it helps counter the heat of the jalapeno. Besides when I think of chips I automatically think 'chips and cheese'. Nachos are basically a tradition at any sporting event I go to. I mean even nachos have raised the bar. There's a restaurant downtown that has created the ultimate nachos, as I like to call it. The cooks have thrown the best ideas together for something delicious and seemingly never ending. I have never seen a friend finish an order of these nachos.
Chips and salsa is also a classic dish for my parties. You can't go wrong really. However, I'd recommend restaurant style tortilla chips solely because they're the biggest! I've said before, I like to get the most for my money. I guess all I'm saying here is for a great party along with drinks, pigs in blanket, depending on the party maybe fancier options like shrimp cocktail, chips are just the most versatile. I wish you could hear the way I'm going to say this: chips go with anything! It's like wearing black. Black goes with everything and helps the body look slimmer; chips are a great lightweight snack.
