Miracle Fruit Takes the World by Storm!

By Christine D Patterson

In the semi-arid terrain of West Africa a miracle is growing, a miracle in the form of a fruit. The Synsepalum dulcificum bush produces berries that people have deemed a miracle. The fruit of the Synsepalum dulcificum has the miraculous power to change even the most sour foods, such as lemons and limes, in to sweet and delicious treats for anyone to enjoy.

The secret is in the fleshy part of the fruit which contains a molecule named miraculin. Miraculin binds itself to the taste buds and then "tricks" them in to making what is normally considered sour or bland in to something that taste sweet. This miracle fruit has been used as a sugar substitute for many years and is popular among dieters and people who have to watch their sugar intake as the berry has a low sugar content.

This miracle fruit is so popular that people are throwing parties in honor of this amazing berry. These parties are fondly referred to as "flavor tripping parties". At these parties people will eat the fruit or take a tablet that contains the fruit in it's freeze dried form. After this tablet dissolves on the tongue, people will then begin experimenting by tasting different foods to taste the results for themselves. These parties have people talking for weeks afterward, telling their friends and family about this amazing Fruit.

If you are planning on having a flavor tripping party of your own or simply want to taste this miracle for yourself then I have a few flavorful suggestions for you. Try the fruit with something sour, foods such as lemons, limes, and grapes will taste great as a combination of sweet and sour. Oranges are my favorite to eat, they taste as though they were dipped in sugar.

Do not wait any longer, see what people all around the world are talking about and try this miracle berry for yourself! It is a simple, low sugar content, all natural berry with an amazing power, it is no wonder people everywhere have named this a miracle fruit!
