Soy Shake drinks are a great way to achieve a lot of things such as, gaining muscle mass, losing weight and having a healthy diet.
Gaining Muscle Mass
Soy shake drinks help you gain muscle mass by providing a large amount of proteins, nutrients and energy - all of which are important in building muscle. What the soya does is provide what are called essential amino acids. Essential amino acids are amino acids your body needs, but which the body itself cannot make and so external factors are relied upon
Losing Weight
Soy shake mixtures help a person lose weight by replacing the snacks that they currently eat in their diet. For example, instead of having a high-calorie can of cola (which as well as being high in calorie, is also nutritionally-bankrupt) you have a soya-based shake. Soy shakes tend to only have around 200 calories, up to 200 less than conventional drinks. Not only is this, but the calories they do have based on protein and wholegrain foodstuffs. This means they actually contain beneficial nutritional content, but also keep the body fuller for longer. This is incredibly important for maintaining metabolism, as well as stopping the person snacking. Although being healthy is of course beneficial for losing weight, most dietitians agree that the best way to lose weight is a combination of calorie reduction, and metabolism maintenance. This means that you don't have to necessarily eat healthily, as long as you stay full on fewer calories than you did previously.
Healthy Diet
Having a healthy diet is clearly important if you yourself wish to maintain in a healthy state. Soy shakes provide a large amount of varied nutritional content, which is rarely found in natural forms - this makes it very appealing for those aspiring to higher health levels!
Another soya-based product which may or may not grab your attention is soy protein bars. These are similar to regular protein bars, apart from their protein is based on soya plants specifically. This means they contain a much larger proportion of polyunsaturated fats than regular protein bars.
