They are really powerful so put them in your daily menu, especially when it gets colder and you need to enhance your imune system.

Grapefruit

Grapefruit has a large amount of vitamin C. However, science has not proven whether vitamin C through food only, without supplementation, is enough to treat cold or flu.. However, the grapefruit is full of flavonoids - natural chemicals that enhance the activation of the immune system. You do not like grapefruit? Try orange or mandarin.

Wheat germ

Wheat sprouts are full of nutrients. They are rich in zinc, antioxidants, vitamins B, vitamins and other vital minerals. Wheat germ also offer a good mix of fiber, protein and fat. Replace part of the normal flour you use in domestic wheat germ.

Spinach

Spinach is rich in nutrients and is known as a "super food". Its folic acid helps in the production of new cells and repair of DNA. It has fiber, antioxidants such as vitamin C and many more. You will take the most benefit if you eat it raw or lightly cooked.

Tea

Green or black? Both are packed with polyphenols and flavonoids. These antioxidants seek free radicals that damage cells and destroy them.

Batata

Batata has an antioxidant beta-carotene, which has a carrot, which cleans harmful free radicals. Batata also has vitamin A, which slows the aging process and can reduce the risk of some cancers.

Broccoli

Broccoli is one of the main ingredients that stimulate the immune system and very easy to find in stores and preparing meals. One study has shown that there is a chemical substance in broccoli that helps stimulate the immune system of mice. In addition, it is full of nutrients that protect your body and it contains vitamin A, vitamin C and glutathione.
