A lot of people think that losing weight is simply switching to salads and fruits, and walking to places instead of driving. This couldn't be further from the truth...
When people say to me that salads and exercise are the only way to lose way I get really infuriated, because I feel that making those kinds of statements puts people of trying to lose weight entirely. If someone wants to lose weight than they can do so without having lettuce every day, it's simply a matter of technique.
One of the main reasons why people profess to being overweight is that they say that they have a slow metabolism. I personally believe that this may be very true in a lot of cases, but whether it is or it isn't is irrelevant to me. Why go out and exercise when you can burn calories by doing nothing but raising your metabolism.
Raising your metabolism is so much easier than people think, and it's simply about tricking the body into feeling full all the time. As soon as your body starts to feel hungry, then it gets worried its food supply may stop soon and it goes into a biology power saving body. The amount of calories it burns is much reduced meaning that when you do eat again you put on much more weight than before.
Losing weight with meal replacement bars is as simple as spreading out your food intake into multiple smaller meals, five is a good number. Drinking water before you eat your small meal helps by absorbing the food and slowing digestion time. This keeps your stomach feeling fuller for longer and keeps you from snacking as well as maintaining your metabolism, if not raising it!
