Being healthy nowadays is easy and difficult, easy because there's a wide range of healthy and tasty foods to choose from. Difficult because as well as there being plenty of healthy options there are even more unhealthy options to go a long with them.
I think the main thing with healthy food that makes it less desirable than unhealthy food is very simply the taste. You can get used to eating salads and enjoying them, but even the healthiest of us will admit that when comparing a salad to a burger there is no competition. Clearer the burger will always be tastier and so the best way to increase the amount of healthy food that people are eating is in fact to increase the taste of it.
This is where foods such as chocolate protein bars come into effect, because they contain an incredible amount of very healthy foods but also taste great. Your average chocolate bar has around 400-500 calories and is packed with sugars and empty calories. A soy protein bar has around 200-300 calories and instead of giving you a sugar rush provides you with slow releasing energy throughout the day.
