Healthy Balanced Food

Today everybody knows that healthy balanced food - is a guarantee of health and longevity. But what is it - healthy food? First of all, it is an optimal correlation of the main nutrients: proteins, fats and carbohydrates.

The protein is the main construction material for our organism. The basic sources of the protein are the products of animal origin, which contain a more valuable composition of the amino acids. But the plant protein shouldn't be neglected, because the amino acids, contained in them, are also necessary for our organisms. The protein should be at least 20% of the daily ration, 60% of which should fall on animal proteins.

The fats are the main energetical components of food. They provide the organism with more energy than the proteins and the carbohydrates. But at the same time consumption of a large amount of animal fats harms your health. That's why, the total amount of fats in your ration shouldn't exceed 30%, and the plant fats should be the main part of it.

The carbohydrates are considered as the indispensable food component, but we started to consume too much "simple" carbohydrates recently, which bring more harm, than use. Try to eat as little sweets as you can: candies, cakes, cookies. You need complex carbohydrates: cereals, vegetables, macaroni foods.

Your meals should be not only healthy, but various during the day and the week. Your everyday ration should include products of different groups: vegetables, fruit, meat, fish, etc.

But what to do, if you need to fortify yourself not at home? Fast food restaurants very seldom satisfy the principles of healthy meals. Semi-finished products can't be healthy by the reason of using different food additives, which influence color, odor and taste. Also there is an excessive amount of fats and preservatives in fast food.

But today more and more restaurants try to take care of the quality of products and the composition of dishes, using only natural and ecologically clean products. It means that even eating out of home you can follow your principles of healthy meals.
